Deadsink implements a rating system so that viewers may understand what age group is eligible to watch any given short film as well as determine if there is any content that might be inappropriate for a given audience.

We do not generally censor material, as it deters from quality filmmaking, but have a strict policy on particular content and subject matters when films are being considered for exhibition. There is no allowance of sexually oriented nudity whatsoever, nor wholly excessive violence, gore and foul language that is not suitable for most audiences.

Additionally, we ask that viewers under 13 not use this site nor watch any content on it. This service is not directed at children and most content may be deemed inappropriate for young viewers.

To better aide in determining whether a film is appropriate for you, your friends or your family, we've created a simple to understand rating system that will alert you to any unsuitable content.

Deadsink's rating system is broken down into two categorical ratings, viewer age restrictions and mature content warnings.

Viewer Age:

	Acceptable for any audience. Contains no content or subject matter of any kind that would offend or otherwise disturb viewers.
	Admissible to audiences 13 years old or older. May contain some content or subject matter of a mature nature, but is generally sparse and considered tame enough for most viewers.
	Restricted to adult viewers 18 years old or older only. Material may include content and subject matter of a mature nature that would be considered inappropriate for younger audiences.
